Terms and Agreements Warranty - Bathtubs, wall tile, countertops and fiberglass fixtures are warranted against failure of adhesion of the applied finish for a period of two years for residential and one year for commercial use. Sinks, floors, spot repairs, slip resistant surfaces and other refinished surfaces are warranted for a period of one-year against failure of adhesion of the applied finish. For items such as grab bars and easy step installations is warranted for a period of one year. Any product warranty is provided by the manufacturer. In the event of any failure of adhesion covered under this warranty, Precision Coatings of Texas will repair the failed area. The color of the repair may vary with time and conditions. Caulk, rust stains, reoccurring rust, plumbing mildew and mold are not warranted. Any warranty claim must be submitted with pictures and a detailed description that is approved by a PCT manager. - The limited warranty covers only the failure of adhesion. The following incidents or practices can damage or degrade a refinished surface and will void any warranty. A) Chips, scratches or other impact damage caused by sharp or calling objects whether from accidental or intentional abuse. B) The use of chemicals, hair dyes, poperies or other products that stain or damage the finish. C) Surface remaining continuously wet from items such as bathmats (without drying in between uses), improper drainage, leaking/dripping plumbing or standing water for extended periods of time. D) Any movement in the substructure of the surface which in turn causes movement in the refinished surface resulting in a crack or split in the refinished surface or grout lines. E) Damage from any activity or use which is not normal or intended use by the original manufacturer. Care and Cleaning - Refinished surfaces must be allowed to cure for at least 24-48 hours, as instructed by the manufacturer. Do not touch or use the surface during these times. Damage from contact prior to recommended cure times may require reapplication and additional costs. Refinished surfaces must remain free of moisture or water during the curing time. Use only non-abrasive, liquid cleaners such as formula 409, Lysol tub and cleaner or scrubbing bubbles on your refinished tub, tile or any refinished surfaces. Do not allow any chemical cleaners to remain on a refinished surface for any extended period. Rinse thoroughly and wipe the surface with a soft sponge or cloth. Regarding bath salts, salt will generally degrade most any surface or finish with prolonged contact, which is why we discourage its use in a refinished tub. Bath salts can also be abrasive diluted in water because of the other trace minerals that remain on the tub surface. If you choose to use these types of products, your tub should be cleaned with a non-abrasive cleaner after every use with salts of any kind. Even with proper cleaning, bath salts can damage refinished surfaces with excessive or prolonged use.

Odors – There will be an odor from the start of every process. If you are sensitive to solvent based materials, then you should remain out of the immediate area during the application.
